“A lovely family-friendly, pet-friendly, well-run holiday park within the beautiful Ayrshire countryside with easy access to everything that's happening in Ayr and the surrounding area. Onsite there is a small welcoming pub serving delicious home-cooked meals and very reasonably priced drinks; there is also live entertainment on a regular basis. The two people who manage the park and pub, Paula and John, are absolute stars, extremely welcoming and helpful, and have loads of local knowledge. The people who own caravans in the park are a really friendly bunch, and there is a strong community feel around the park. You would not be disappointed if you were to hire or buy a caravan here. We hired one for one weekend and bought our caravan the very next week. We loved the place immediately, and we now enjoy spending our weekends, holidays and spare time here.”

My older children made their own entertainment by building dens, playing football, and going on bike rides, while my youngest loved the park and the toys in the bar area. We had some lovely days out at Dene Country Park (free) and Heads of Ayr Farm Park. The staff were really helpful and always had time to chat. We had a lovely meal out at the Black Bull, a minute's drive away. I would recommend this site for a quiet getaway, giving families the opportunity to spend time together instead of sticking your kids in amusements and drinking your body weight in beer.”
